Heather-Liz has been a CAYP member since 2015, and joined the board in spring of 2016 focusing on member outreach and special events, and became Treasurer in March of 2017. Heather-Liz is the Development Manager at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region, Inc. She is also the Director of the Legislative Correspondents’ Association’s Show, a longstanding tradition in Albany-based political satire and performance. She holds a BA in Theatre Arts (Directing) from Marymount Manhattan College, and a MA in Theatre History & Criticism from the Catholic University of America.
Greg Eckl joined CAYP in June 2016 and is serving on the board as the co-chair of the membership committee. Greg is a Financial Representative for Wealth Advisory Group in Latham. For fun, he organizes and gives a weekend long battlefield tour at Gettysburg National Military Park in Pennsylvania, where he speaks about the American Civil War, the Battle of Gettysburg and the people who fought there. Rachele Genhofer owns Little Dog Advertising, a full-service advertising agency based in Albany, NY, that specializes in finding creative marketing solutions for small and medium-sized businesses. Rachele received her Bachelor’s in Marketing and minors in Broadcast Media and Creative Arts from Siena College. She joined CAYP to get involved in her community and to further build her professional network.
Kendra recently accepted a position at Saratoga Springs City School District as the Educational Technology Specialist in the high school. Prior to this position, she was the Technology Director and 5th – 8th Grade Computer Technology Teacher at St. Pius X School in Loudonville, NY. Kendra is also an Adjunct Professor at The College of Saint Rose teaching in the Computer Science Department.
Kendra is a graduate of The College of Saint Rose with a Master of Science in Education, successfully completing the Educational Technology Specialist program. She attended St. John Fisher College, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Childhood Education and Special Education.
Kendra has been a member of CAYP since March 2017. She is an active member of the Junior League of Albany. She also enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and skiing.
Andy has been a CAYP member since 2014 and joined the board in the spring of 2018; he became Treasurer in July of 2018. Andy is currently Special Assistant to the County Executive working in Human Resources for Albany County. Prior to his current position he worked at Nolan Associates in Troy, NY where he served as Director of Legislative Affairs for the National Conference of Insurance Legislators (NCOIL).
In his free time, Andy enjoys traveling and volunteering with a variety of organizations. He is currently an active member of The SPAC Junior Committee.
He is an honors graduate of The College of Saint Rose where he was the founder and president of the Political Science Society and one of the founding members of the Student Library Advisory Council.
Jason Homan is a Sales Associate at Discover Schenectady, the Convention & Visitors Bureau for Schenectady County. He is originally from Ohio and moved to the Capital Region for work in 2016. He was been attending CAYP events since then and officially joined as a member, and then as a board member in 2018. He also serves on the board of the NY Capital Region Buckeyes Alumni Club. In his free-time, Jason is an avid political Podcast listener, bicycler, and hiker.
Derek joined CAYP in 2017 and has been on the board since July 2018. Derek is a licensed associate broker at Clancy Real Estate, where he helps buyers and sellers reach their goals. Derek received his bachelor degree in Marketing Management from Siena College.
Emily has been a CAYP member since spring of 2016, and joined the board summer of 2017. Emily is the Business Development Manager for Cresa, a global corporate real estate advisory firm that exclusively represents tenants.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications with a focus in public relations from the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.
Emily uses her strategic social skills to network and build professional relationships to help grow her corporation’s client base. Outside of work Emily enjoys being outdoors with her two bulldogs.
