Heather-Liz has been a CAYP member since 2015, and joined the board in spring of 2016 focusing on member outreach and special events, and became Treasurer in March of 2017. Heather-Liz is the Development Manager at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region, Inc. She is also the Director of the Legislative Correspondents’ Association’s Show, a longstanding tradition in Albany-based political satire and performance. She holds a BA in Theatre Arts (Directing) from Marymount Manhattan College, and a MA in Theatre History & Criticism from the Catholic University of America.

Greg Eckl joined CAYP in June 2016 and is serving on the board as the co-chair of the membership committee. Greg is a Financial Representative for Wealth Advisory Group in Latham. For fun, he organizes and gives a weekend long battlefield tour at Gettysburg National Military Park in Pennsylvania, where he speaks about the American Civil War, the Battle of Gettysburg and the people who fought there. Rachele Genhofer owns Little Dog Advertising, a full-service advertising agency based in Albany, NY, that specializes in finding creative marketing solutions for small and medium-sized businesses. Rachele received her Bachelor’s in Marketing and minors in Broadcast Media and Creative Arts from Siena College. She joined CAYP to get involved in her community and to further build her professional network.

CAYP For A Cause

Kendra recently accepted a position at Saratoga Springs City School District as the Educational Technology Specialist in the high school. Prior to this position, she was the Technology Director and 5th – 8th Grade Computer Technology Teacher at St. Pius X School in Loudonville, NY. Kendra is also an Adjunct Professor at The College of Saint Rose teaching in the Computer Science Department.

Kendra is a graduate of The College of Saint Rose with a Master of Science in Education, successfully completing the Educational Technology Specialist program. She attended St. John Fisher College, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Childhood Education and Special Education.

Kendra has been a member of CAYP since March 2017.  She is an active member of the Junior League of Albany.  She also enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and skiing.

Andrew Williamson

Treasurer

Andy has been a CAYP member since 2014 and joined the board in the spring of 2018; he became Treasurer in July of 2018.  Andy is currently Special Assistant to the County Executive working in Human Resources for Albany County. Prior to his current position he worked at Nolan Associates in Troy, NY where he served as Director of Legislative Affairs for the National Conference of Insurance Legislators (NCOIL).

In his free time, Andy enjoys traveling and volunteering with a variety of organizations.  He is currently an active member of The SPAC Junior Committee.

He is an honors graduate of The College of Saint Rose where he was the founder and president of the Political Science Society and one of the founding members of the Student Library Advisory Council.

Phil Carr

Phil Carr

Phil joined CAYP as a member in December 2018 and the board in April 2019. I am a Residential Mortgage Originator for Saratoga National Bank covering the Greater Capital District. With 6 years of mortgage experience, my number one priority is making customers feel confident and comfortable with the biggest investment of your lives.

I moved to the Capital District in 2005, attended Hudson Valley Community College and was part of the baseball team in 2005 and 2006. In my free time I enjoy coaching my son’s football and baseball teams as well as taking in some golf at times.

Derek joined CAYP in 2017 and has been on the board since July 2018. Derek is a licensed associate broker at Clancy Real Estate, where he helps buyers and sellers reach their goals.  Derek received his bachelor degree in Marketing Management from Siena College.

Michah Schrom

Michah Schrom

Micah has been a CAYP Member since 2017, and joined the board in March 2019. Micah currently serves as the Director of Pharmacy Reporting and Analytics for Optum, a leading health services and analytics company and the growth engine of UnitedHealth Group where he has worked for the past 12 years. He is also the President of Collaborative Dynamics, LLC, a boutique full-cycle consulting firm that focuses on helping organizations build, prepare for, and execute successful strategies. Micah also previously spent 4 years as a Visiting Professor in Management at Siena College teaching project management, management consulting, and organizational strategy.

He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business, Management and Economics from SUNY Empire State College and an Executive MBA in Management from the University at Albany. Additionally, he holds professional certifications as a Certified Everything DiSC® Facilitator, Six Sigma Green Belt, and Certified Workforce Planning Professional.

Micah loves to travel, attend events around the Capital Region, and spend time with family and friends. He lives in Latham with his two children Lauren (7) and Andrew (4).

Eric Magnano

Eric Magnano

Eric Magnano is a lifelong Capital Region resident growing up in Saratoga Springs and currently resides in Malta. He is a Commercial Banking Officer at Community Bank, N.A. where he joined at the beginning of 2018. In his role, he is responsible for managing new business with present and prospective commercial customers and to expand Community Bank’s presence in the Greater Capital Region. Eric has been in banking for 10 years, with prior responsibilities in Cash Management Sales and Credit Analysis.

Eric received his Bachelor’s with a concentration in Finance from Le Moyne College and received his Master’s in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University. In his free time, he likes to watch pretty much any sporting event or you can often find him on the links. He also serves on SPAC’s Junior Committee and has participated in a number of initiatives to benefit the Regional Food Bank of NENY.

He has attended CAYP events periodically since 2014 but has recently joined the Board to become more involved and provide more opportunity to get to know current and future members of CAYP.

Coleton Kirchner

Coleton Kirchner

Coleton joined CAYP in the fall of 2018 and has been on the board since the summer of 2019. Coleton is a licensed real estate salesperson for Sunrise Realty Advisors specializing in commercial and investment real estate. He graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Coleton is a native of the Capital Region and has firsthand knowledge of the exciting growth in this area. For fun, he enjoys traveling, going up to Lake George and trying new restaurants.

Jessica Lyden

Jessica Lyden

Jessica joined the CAYP board in May 2019. She joined CAYP to build meaningful relationships with fellow young professionals throughout the Capital Region and become more involved in the community.

Jessica is a Financial Advisor with Northwestern Mutual, focused on educating young professionals and families on how they can live life by design, not default.

Jessica earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from the State University of New York at Oneonta, where she was a four-year athlete on the Oneonta State Women’s Soccer team.

In her free time, Jessica enjoys camping, traveling, and continues to play in local soccer leagues.
