Alex Schwarz has been a CAYP Board Member since 2014 and took over the role of President in August 2016. Alex works as an Account Manager for Aerotek Staffing and Recruiting and has been with the company since 2010.
Since joining CAYP in 2012, Alex has made numerous professional and personal relationships and has attributed the group to bringing him together with likeminded individuals from all over the area.
Dan is local to the Capital Region and is an attorney at Martin Harding & Mazzotti, LLP. He attended Marist College and Albany Law School, having obtained his Juris Doctor in 2013.
Each year, Dan devotes time to helping veterans of the United States Military obtain free legal services during the Veterans Pro Bono event at Albany Law School.
Outside of work, Dan plays rugby in the Capital region and enjoys attending various community events that are offered in the City of Albany.
Meg Emery is a Senior Group Sales Account Executive for the Albany Devils. She received her Bachelors Degree in Sports and Recreation Management with a Business minor from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA in 2011.
Meg is a big sister in Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region and Ambassador of the Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce. She has a passion of working with non-profits and fundraising. In her spare time Meg enjoys watching Reality TV shows, attending concerts and playing in a bowling league.
Conor has been Treasurer of the Board for 2 years. He is a 3rd generation member of his 65 year old family-owned insurance and financial planning business, Bryant Asset Management, where he works as a Certified Financial Planner.
Rachele Genhofer owns Little Dog Advertising, a full-service advertising agency based in Albany, NY, that specializes in finding creative marketing solutions for small and medium-sized businesses. Rachele received her Bachelor’s in Marketing and minors in Broadcast Media and Creative Arts from Siena College. She joined CAYP to get involved in her community and to further build her professional network.
Stephanie joined the CAYP board in March 2016 and is currently the Director of Communications at BBL Hospitality. She attended the College of Saint Rose where she earned her degree in Communications and Business Administration, and swam for the Golden Knights.
In her spare time, she teaches swim lessons for Excel Aquatics and STRIDE, works with Myriad Productions and serves on committees for American Cancer Society and St. Jude.
Marissa Salzone has been a CAYP Board Member since July 2016. Marissa is the Marketing Manager at GreyCastle Security, a cybersecurity consulting firm based out of Troy, NY. She was recently interviewed for a top-selling book on Amazon, The Millennial Mindset.
Heather-Liz has been a CAYP member since 2015, and joined the board in Spring of 2016 focusing on member outreach and special events. Heather-Liz works in the President’s office at Capital Bank handling much of the non-banking side of the bank’s operations. She holds a BA in Theatre Arts (Directing) from Marymount Manhattan College, and a MA in Theatre History & Criticism from the Catholic University of America.
Samantha Legere has been a member of CAYP for almost two years, and joined the board in 2016. Sam works for the Schenectady County Community College Foundation as Coordinator of Development, and enjoys spending time outdoors.
Justin Trevail has been a CAYP Board Member since August 2016. He is the owner of Healthy Concepts for Life and holds a Bachelors degree in business administration from the College of Saint Rose.
Marybeth Mathias is one of the newest members to join the CAYP Board and works alongside Greg Eckl handling membership. She works for Capital District Physicians’ Health Plan (CDPHP) as a Product Manager for Strategic Accounts and is currently working on her Master’s degree at Sage Graduate School for Health Services Administration.
Prior to starting graduate school, Marybeth completed her Bachelor’s degree in Communications and English at SUNY Albany. Originally from the Utica area, Marybeth loves exploring restaurants and events around the Capital Region and believes networking is essential to a successful career and great way to build social and professional circles.
Greg Eckl joined CAYP in June 2016 and is serving on the board as the co-chair of the membership committee. Greg is a Financial Representative for Wealth Advisory Group in Latham. For fun, he organizes and gives a weekend long battlefield tour at Gettysburg National Military Park in Pennsylvania, where he speaks about the American Civil War, the Battle of Gettysburg and the people who fought there.
