Domestic violence affects potentially millions of women and men every year. Estimates range from 960,000 to 3 million incidents of violence against a current or former spouse, boyfriend, or girlfriend per year.
CAYP is collecting used, unwanted cellular phones during the month of October. These cell phones will be refurbished for donation to a man or woman who is a victim of domestic violence in case of emergency. A cell phone may literally save a victim's life.
Please donate your own used, unwanted cell phones. Ask your family and friends if they have any they can spare. We will collect them at all of our events this month. If you cannot make it to a CAYP event, but would still like to donate, email info@CAYP.org, and we would be happy to have a representative of CAYP pick up the phone(s) from you at a mutually convenient time and location.
